91-98 base model muffler, are they all the same?
Hi, I have a 93 3000gt base model, and my whole muffler got messed up after accident. So I got a whole muffler (bolt-on) from this guy that has a 98 base model. I know the 96 and up base model is SOHC, and mine is DOHC. But the muffler still fit my car, it was just direct bolt on. So I just want to know do the DOHC and SOHC 3000gt use the same muffler? I don't want to mess up my hp again.

Yes. it is the same exhaust. the SOHC and DOHC both share the same stock setup. let us know how it works out. I'm interested to see if that was in fact what caused your power loss. I am confident it is though.
