Oil leak probably from pan
I have a 1993 XL F150 with the V6 300. Doe pretty much everyone who has one of these trucks have problems with the oil pan leaking? I believe that is where it is coming from and has anyone corrected this problem before? Can a person drop the oil pan without any obstructions to put on a new gasket?

Re: Oil leak probably from pan
From what I understand, it appears that all Ford Trucks with the V-6 300 and the V-8 302 has an oil pan problem of the pan just rusting through from the inside. I had it to happen on two vehicle, both with the 302. Check for any paint blisters. If you see them, DO NOT SCRAPE. Find you a pan ASAP.
