good mods for 1997 tahoe 4dr 5.7L

i have a bone stock 1997 tahoe that i wanna mod a little ( it is one of my daily drivers so not to much). i just got my permit so i dont want anything that will make it "fly" but i think it is kinda slow for my taste... does anybody have any suggestions or comments, if so please tell me. i will appreciate any comment/suggestion.

-------------PROCHARGER PS II WITH INTERCOOLER ... I saw a vortec set up like this in a 97 tahoe lt 4 dr 4x4 with 6 inch lift on 36's It lit all four meats at takeoff. I found that exhaust is a good start in these trucks. and to help it breath more www.turbocity.com

do you really think someone with a permit should be driving a vehicle that is supercharged????? he just needs more punch. a good I/H/E combo with a performance chip should do it.

----------No I was just messin with the young lad. But anything he does to help that vortec breath will be a good improvement. In 97 they came with 255 horse stock but with some minor upgarades he could probably get close to 300 horses out of that truck.Pardon my (sarcasm) about the supercharger,
