factory stereo question
I have a 2003 GTI with the monsoon sound system. The dealer also added an alarm system. Does anyone know if it is okay to replace the deck on this? I have my entire music collection on an mp3 player and i want a deck with an aux in. Does the stock/monsoon deck have anything vital attached to it? I remember some cars have the remote keyless entry sensors in their stereos. Thanks.

call the dealership to find out.I'm pretty sure you can take the moonsoon out. oh yeah, you should sell it on ebay. probably would make you a pretty penny.
