timing pictures

does any one have pictures of how to timing a civic 88, I´m having problems to find the tdc marks on the crank gear, and the crank pulley is painted , I´m having problems on high rev and have a code 8 "TDC problem" , and a code 20 "electric overload"
please help

My ride is an 88 civic 1.5L DPFI 4speeds

If you are having problems with the marks on the pulley, there is another method.

Take out your #1 spark plug, get a long screwdriver and put in in there, HAND crank the crankpully bolt until the screwdriver goes all the way to its highest, thats TDC at the crank.
