Alaska...

so ya, on sunday i leave for a 10 day vacation, 7 day cruise + 2 days in vancouver on the way back. so im cruisin to alaska, my first cruise, and also my first trip 2 alaksa...we wud go somewhere warmer, but one of the people im travelling with has vertigo, and doesnt know if she will get sea sick, etc., and alaska has the calmest waters.

anyone cruise 2 alaska b4? anyone have a cruise tips? wut to bring? wut not to bring? wut to do?

btw im going on Celebrity cruises, on the Infinity ship...

I had some relatives go to Alaska and from the pictures it looks gorgeous! Its nothing like Antartica like I thought it would be. I'd suggest bringing lots of film or a video camera. I would love to vacation in Alaska.

One of my sisters works up there and my folks went for a couple week vacation there last month. They all rave about how great it is (summer time). I'm sure Mogg can voice some other opinions if we see him around soon.

Though its been really warm up there the last few weeks, it would be smart to take a cold weather jacket if you plan on visiting the glaciers or doing any backpacking.

If you like fishing, its amongh the best in the world up there.
