Low Tire Pressure - No reset through radio 2000 LS

I have a 2000 Impala LS. The "Low Tire Pressure" light came on while driving over the Fourth of July weekend. Yes, I did have one low tire that was 12 pounds different from the other three. I fixed the problem. Now I can't get the "Low Tire Pressure" light to go off. I don't have the "reset" option on my radio computer settings and turning the key to "on" and then flipping the headlights on to "parking lights" three times, doesn't work either. Is there any way that the DRL or daylight running lights interfers with this. PLEASE help. Is there a computer reset button, anyway.

take the postive battery cable loose for 30 seconds then reconnect it and that should reset the computer

A couple Key things here ! You actually have to Start the car not just turn the key to on. You must have the Radio Off . There are 3 levels to your light switch 1. Is off 2. Parking lights- Pull light switch halfway 3. ON - This turns on your regular lights. You must QUICKLY go from 1 -2 , 1-2, 1-2, then back to 1 ( Off ) and this will turn off the light. It took me 20 minutes to accomplish this the first time , the second time 5 seconds and the light was off.

I hope this might help you !

Thanks Viper and Shadow. I was too timid to unhook the battery cable Viper, because who knows what the hell might happen to the computer on my Impala.

Shadow, Thanks so much. If the light ever does come on again.. I'm going to definately try this. The way the manual is written it's really not clear if you are suppose to actually have the engine turned on. <smacks my forehead> The one possibility I didn't think of.

Now I did turn around, face the east and spit three times, but that was just my last sad final attempt at a miracle before I wussed out and took my car to the dealer, where they wanted to charge me 24 bucks to turn off a )*&)$(&)(& light. However I found out that my car shoulld have had the turn off display in the radio...or maybe it was my cute bubble personality <rolls my eyes> but they fixed it free.
