Brand New Camry: After Engine turn off, car will make noise
I just brought a brand new 2004 camry 6 months ago, since the first day I brought it, it will make somekind of noise after the engine turn off (pull out the key), it is kind like something is still rotating underneath the car, and the noise will gradually turn off after a few minutes. It seems not affect the performance of the car, so I don't know is any other Camry owner experience the same thing or not?
Thanks in advance!! Ren |

I bet you're hearing the exhaust system cooling down. Toyotas usually make a ticking sound after they're turned off. Not a problem.

Another possibility is the cooling fan still running to cool the engine.

Yes, that's your exhaust system cooling. Ren shi, like Joe W said, if it is a motor or humming sound, the fan is the obvious answer.
