Error code p1349
I have a 98 Dodge ram 1500 5.2. THe check engine light is on and my wife took it to get it checked at auto store. The code that came up is p1349. The guy said that is the first time that code ever came up and he didn't have a fix for it. Here is what he said, Fuel level sensor B circuit is high.
I am driving from florida to NJ in a few weeks and would like to get this fixed. Anyone else have this? I hate to take it to a dealer and get robbed. thanks in advance |

Re: Error code p1349
Before I start, I must say that you have one of the funniest usernames I've ever seen on this site. I saw this and I thought, "so that's who Chubby's dad is, it's this guy!". LOL!
Sounds like something is going wrong in your fuel tank...

Re: Error code p1349
If this was my truck doing it, no I wouldn't do anything about it at all until something quit. If the truck stopped running, then yes I would take it in. If the fuel gauge stopped working, I wouldn't do anything because you don't need that...

Re: Error code p1349
reset the computer and try code retrieval again. Your gas cap could have been loose.
Dummer stuff has happened!
