89 chevy cavalier

I own a 89 chevy cavalier with 79000 miles i have problems with stalling while stopping does any one have any insight for me it would be greately appericated

Unplug the TCC solenoid. It is a large plug on the transmission under the air filter (front driver side). If the care then perform well, you can leave it unpluged. It will cause the Service Engine Light to come on. You may notice a slight reduction in gas mileage. I have been driving my 94 for several years without problems. Repairs-the part is about $40 at any parts store. Paying someone to do it can get costly.

hey, i had the same problem on my 93 cav rs. i had no idea what it was, but public was kind enough to point me in the same direction he pointed you. i haven't been able to test it yet because my car needs a ton of other more important work. but i did research it a bit, here is a great link with info about it.
