Unhappy newbie needs help please

hey I really need some help here guys I need to find out basically the cheapest way to clean my fuel system, rails, lines and all; someone poured salt in my gas tank. I have a 2.2L manual. I know that I will almost for sure have to replace the injectors. Can anyone help as far as the best way to go about it and what to use. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: newbie needs help please

can anyone help please, I got the gas tank dropped and the gas was a burnt color orange almost brown it was like something I had never seen before, it also has hard small white specks in it. I believe that the fuel pump is still okay it is pumping real good pressure. so I was wanting to know if this would help any with trying to figure out what to do should I just put the tank back on. I had it hot-tanked ( heated to 140 degrees and dipped for two hours). If any suggestions I'm all ears.

Pull and clean the spark plugs and each fuel injector with carb cleaner.
Use a toothbrush if needed.

Salt in your tank. What kind of ass^&*% would do that???? A friend of mine told me about the old ping pong ball trick. You force that sucker into the tank. It starts and runs for a bit. Then nothing. He said it'd dissolve after about a month. But, most mechanics would go crazy trying to figure it out.
