Does anyone know, right off the top of their head, how to program the remotes. I was supposed to get the information, and didn't, and need to program the keyless entry for my new honda. I'm still trying to get the info., but need an alternate plan just in case.
Thanks, Jason |

Re: 1995 honda civic EX keyless entry
I got word back from the seller. turn ignition 5-6 times, and then press lock/unlock on the remote. I haven't tried it yet.
Just in case anyone else has ever tried to buy the remotes, because no one ever passes them on from seller to buyer anymore. That's why e-bay is doing so well. no more owners manuals. keyless entry. one key to the car. no repair manuals. no floor mats. |

Re: 1995 honda civic EX keyless entry
Maybe they changed it between 95 and 97. Mine is different. Next to the radio, between the buttons for "AM/FM" and "CD" there's a very thin little button. Doesn't even look like a button, but it is.
You turn the car on one click before ignition, then hold that little button down for ten seconds or so until the radio beeps. Then you push lock and unlock on the remote a few times, and you're all set. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get the button to beep, but usually it's pretty easy.
