Re: scary expirence
I have been having the same problem. My brakes act like they want to lock up and but once they do they're fine. The light comes on all the time but I worry about it going out on me. What is causing it? It the ABS system gone? Or do I need new brakes?

Re: scary expirence
What a crazy world we live in, I have the same problem. But, nobody can tell me or give me an idea what it might be. I'm going tommorow to have them checked again. But, they are going to hook them up to a diagnostic computer. Will this tell me anything, I don't know. But, it's only going to cost me $20.00. So, we'll see. I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

I changed the shoes myself at 105000 miles and the problem started so i took it to a local repair shop who told me i put the shoes on backwards and charged me forty bucks. well i new i hadnt put the shoes on backwards but i gave them the benefit of the doubt, took the car home same problem the next day. So took it back to the shop they said there was nothing wrong that they could find. So out of frusteration i bought a difftent set of shoes, diffrent manufacturer and tried them no problems for about three weeks, now threemonths later problem is as bad as ever dont know what to do. would love any advice thanks scaper2506

Re: scary expirence
All of you ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Check the connections at the sensors at the wheel.. they are on the inside of the hubs... On the CV shafts in the front and behind the brake plate in the rear..
