Tires Sizes

The Michelin web site says that a 205/70/14 tire is an alternative for the stock 195/70/14 on my 1998 Camry. I thought you had to go down a size in the aspect ratio to get the tire to fit. I guess the 205 is not much bigger. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Re: Tires Sizes

205/65/15 is the stock tire on my '00 LE. If you are staying with the 14" wheel, the 205 will fit (tire is just a tad wider but height is the same). Go down in size if you are going to larger wheels.
