Unhappy WS6 Differential Chatter???

Looking for help for my 1997 WS6, car is low mileage but has too much rear end chatter, especially at crawling speed when car is hot. Any suggestions?

-----------------------------Check your rpo codes .If you find g80 than that means you have a limited slip diff. Most cases if you ever had the rear fluid changed maybe someone forgot to add posi fluid which would make the rear chatter and do strange shite..Best way is to pull off the cover and have a look at all the teeth and gears and bearings for wear or broken shrapnel. If all looks good replace with good quality gear oil and don't forget the posi additive .If that dont work it could be a carrier bearing or the pinion race or bearing..When you get the diff cover off let me know how it looks in there I will try to help you out..

Thanks for the reply. You are correct. I had the fluid changed and added the posi fluid (Delco) and poof...problem disappeared.

Thanks again
