Unhappy Clutch problems on P reg fiesta

The other day whilst driving, everytime i dipped the clutch the engine revved as if i was pressing the accelerator then died as if after one rev this lasted for about 15 - 20 minutes while i was driving but did not start unitl halfway thru my journey!!!

Anyway next time i got in the car it was fine!!!

Is this anything serious?? Is it a easily fixable problem? Worst comes to worst i still got 2 months warranty on engine and gear parts!!!

HELP ME!!

Re: Clutch problems on P reg fiesta

if fitted could well be the speed sensor -or idle control valve.

Re: Clutch problems on P reg fiesta

if you take time to look you could find on the speedo drive(gearbox end)2 wires coming from drive, follow these to the bulkhead connection, and next time it happens-disconnect it.may cure your prob.also check all connections at throttle body.this is a problem with this model as per ford motor comp.
