I'm trying to program a keyless remote for a 1994 Grand Marquis. The instructions I received say to jump the pins on the Programming Connector located behind the glove box. The connector is supposed to be a two-pin female connector taped to the wiring harness with one WHT/YELLOW and one GRY/YELLOW wire.
I can't find anything resembling this, not even under the steering column. Anyone know where and/or how else I should be looking? Thanks, Degorio |

Re: Can't find Programming Connector
This original post is way old, but I could've used the following info today. Yes, the programming connector is behind the glove box..It is NOT the blue box with the two holes. Look to the right of the blue box. You should see a ton of wires coming down to a harness. You will also see a gray plug hanging down, not plugged into anything. In that plug are 2 pins. Jump those pins by connecting a wire to both pins simultaneously. Any wire should work...even a paper clip. You'll hear the locks cycle if you jump successfully.
