I have a '92 Lumina Euro that doesn't have power windows or power door locks. I've been thinking about putting at least the power windows on the car. I don't like the roll down windows at all.
What all would I need and have to do to put in power windows? What about power door locks? Is this even possible? I know that is probably fuses in the cars equipped with them but is it in my car? |

hey finally somebody in the same boat. i have a 1990 lumina and i put power locks in myself. all you need to do is take off the door panel (mine has two screws in the handle, one by the mirror and two on the outside edge) and then it should pull off (there are fasteners that might need replaced). then go to the junkyard and pull off the door as well. you will see a little box right under the handle held on by rivits. you need that part. it will just rivit right up to your car. as for the wiring you can consult any hayes or chilton manual. as for the power windows, i am still working on them. the junkyard that i go to is 1 hour away so i dont go there that often. as soon as i know i can let you know. if you want any pics of anything or any wiring diagrams i should be able to help you. just let me know.
