Alpine Type S Speakers

Are Alpine type s speakers any good? The SPS-170A model 2way coaxile speakers. Im looking into buying 2 pairs of the 6.5" and was wondering if anyone had any experiences with them or something? Its either those for 130 shipped for both pairs or pioneers for like 100 shipped? What do you guys suggest. (its for a 94 accord lx powered off the head unit amp panasonic head 23x4rms 50x4 max mosfet internal amp) Any help is great thanks

Re: Alpine Type S Speakers

Alpines would be better than the pioneers, but I'd suggest trying JL coaxials for the price

I found these rockford fosgate components on ebay. Fanatic P series. I have owned them and they sound good. And at a great price. They are $65 and $11 for shipping. I prefer components over coaxile any day. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW
