was just about to say, you could get so much more out of your system if you dont pin your speakers up against the back like that... if you have no room position them up mabey, but no clearence is pretty bad...

int + bay are nice... sicc ride man, and nice fast response... must really be boring where youre from =]

Actually, with the box facing the back, the illusion of deeper thump action comes through. Mine is so light though that I have bungees holding it to the rear strut tower brace Then again, mine is bandpass.

Well guys the custom enclosure didnt go as good as planne but i managed to make it work.

First the diamond plate i was using for the top...well we cut it out but we had the pattern back wards so it was usless.

so next we built it by wood, raised it up..rounded all the edges..looks awesome..but i need to go out and but some carpet for it...does anyone know what the carpet is called that they use on sub boxes, or any other good material to use?

Here are some pics of it, tonight i might go by and wire it up perhaps, but we shall see.

sounds better when it reflects off the back of the car and back into the cab, yes... but you need some space, 2" clearence isnt gonna sound as well as 2'... but this is a different topic, so if hes happy with the sound thats all that matters

I'm half deaf anyway.
I have a CRX Si.. ie. no back seats
My speakers are 6 years old and still thump.
I have a good 6" of clearance between bandpass ports (vertical rectangles) and rear of car... have thumped it to the point that I've lost screws, cut the plastic apart and taped it (only to protect brake light bulbs from dirt) but it's still covered by hatch cover so looks okay...
