fuel pump resistor

well as it turns out the resistor is a dealer only item, no local dealers actually carry the part and it'll be ordered. i ordered the relocation resistor kit for 97-00 grand prix b/c that's all any dealer could find listed. apparently gm moved the resistor back to the rear around the tank and i guess i'm waiting for my order to come in to make sure that what i found down there was the resistor attached near the side of the tank as the fuel lines come down the driver's side. if anybody knows exact location on 01+ i'ld like to hear it.

Re: fuel pump resistor

yeah that was the site i printed out a long time ago so when the resistor went i would know how to do a quick fix till i got a new one. 97-00 you can find the resistor under the hood, 2001+ it's near the tank under the car, i'll confirm this once i get the new part in to make sure it's the right piece then maybe shoot up a quick fix to add to site if that's the case.
