Polished Rims

I have 16" Eagle Alloy rims on my truck and I wanted to know if you could use chrome polish when polishing them. Thanks for any advice.

Re: Polished Rims

It depends on the polish and what you're wanting out of it. You shouldn't have a problem using chrome polish. Test it on a small surface of the wheel first. If you're wanting it for protection of rust, I suggest Never Dull. It works really well on removal of rust as well as prevention. I had a '99 Dakota with aluminum alloy wheels and I currently own a Dakota with alloy wheels. They don't really need any polishing. Basically, all I've ever done to them is dry them with a soft cloth after I was my truck. Good luck, hope it helps.
