Rotor confusion!

Here's the deal, I am swapping over some Si rear disc brakes onto my CX. Before I put them on, though, I am gonna upgrade the rotors with some Brembro blanks and some muuuuch better pads than stock. I was thinking Green Stuff or Hawks(they both seem to get rave reviews on this forum). I was wondering, for the rear how would I go about buying the rotors. Most of the places I go have the Si rear but w/ ABS. I am not sure if it makes any difference because even if the rear brake swap has ABS I would just not use the lines. And if it's just the rotors then no problem right?

Thanks for the help in advance,
Carlos

As long as you get the proper rotor size, then you should be alright. That's the main concern about it. BTW, go Hawk pads, MUCH better than EBC from what people that have used them tell me.

Re: Rotor confusion!

Awesome, very helpful. So from now on if I'm to replace anything I need to get the Si rotors for the rear and the CX (or non-abs) in the front?

Exactly! I believe the CX uses the same "9.4 size rotors as the DX's for the front?
