chipped ecu
i have a stock b16a and im about to run a chipped out p28 with the fuel cut off at 9500 rpms ... my question is, is this ecu bad for a stock b16a or do i need work done to the engine to put in a chipped ecu

If you are planning to rev that high with stock motor then FUCK YES thats bad. If you have nothing done to your car you have NO BUSINESS revving that high.
YOu can run the program but DONT GO PASSED 8k RPMs. Also be carefull with all that shit if your timing is advanced at the Dist and then you have a timing advancement on the ECU you can blow up the car.

Assuming you're not gonna rev past 8k, you're fine.
Even then, the fuel maps might be tweaked to run on a differently configured b16. You could be running rich; you could be running lean. That is, assuming the fuel maps were changed.
