'91 Door Mounting Depth for new speakers?

After all these years living with the stock speakers I want to simply disconnect them and install components or high quality coaxials in the doors. Should have done this years ago!
I'll also be replacing the HU and adding an amp with small sub in rear (extended cab).

I have a set of 5.25" Morel Integras (coaxial) that I could use or a set of 5.25" DLS Magnesiums (components) that I'm looking at. Both require @2.5" mounting depth. I could use a spacer to reduce that .5 - .75" if need be.
But, I've never removed a door panel and am leery of my skills to do so without problems. Without having removed the panels, it looks like I would have to mount them in the lower part of the door just above the map pockets. Could someone tell me what mounting depth I have available for speakers.

Power door locks
Power windows

Thanks for any info/suggestions you can offer.

Y'know, curiously, I have never looked for speaker space in my 1990, but I CAN assure you that with the correct door panel clip tool, pulling the panel is a piece of cake- just be cautious, pay attention, and have the window down!

Thanks for the reply!
I guess I'm concerned that, if I were to get it off successfully, it has to go back on successfully.
