Unhappy Help! A/C smells

2001 GC. 6 cyl. A/c works great gets nice and cold. It just stinks! Smells like wet dog. I'm sure its a mildew problem. Anyone know of a treatment i could add to the AC system? Where can i find it? Can i squirt somethign in the vents?

Mildew

While it's probably mildew, what we always do before shutting down any A/C is to turn OFF the A/C and let it run for at least 1-2 minutes using the regular blower (on HIGH) to dry out the internal moisture inside the ducts.

This will prevent the smell completely in the future, but I'm not sure of how to get out the existing mildew inside.

should be under where the window wipers are, that big plastic piece, the dealer should tell you over the phone though just to be sure.
