89 culass ciera service engine light

my friends 89 cutlass ciera with the 3.3 v6 has a problem, see one day after a hard rain, he hit a big puddle and spun out, didnt hit anything, but now the service engine soon light comes on now and then even though the car seems to be running fine, anyone have any ideas.

Probably the sensor got tripped when the water puddle hit some of the sensors.

Just try to disconnect the battery cable for 15 minutes and reconnect the battery cable and see if the Check Engine Light clears away. If the Check Engine Light does not clear away after disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes then bring your car to Autozone and have them check the vehicle for Error Code for FREE.
