Re: Why?

That doesnt make any sense to me. It doesnt seem very rare or anything but maybe people want a totally original car they can restore.

Why would someone pay 110k at barret jacksons as he claims though??

Re: Why?

reasons for value of this car:
it is a 69, which is the most popular (not my favorite though)
It is a vert
It is an SS RS
It is a Big block car with a 4 speed and a 12 bolt

those are just a few of the things that make this car a hot item.

Re: Why?

i think most people would take a 69 over a 68 for no reason. meaning they dont have a real reason. now i dont mean most people that actauly know about the cars, but average people or more normal people who dont know much about cars. obveoulsy there are going to be people who want a 69 for spacific reason and true reasons but still, many people i have got to talking about it dont have a reason. they want a 69 because of the number. asentialy when someone is like that i just think of the as a dumbass. (not saying anyone on here is or anything, its just my opinion). its a stupid reason for wanting something like that. its the same way with chevelles. they want a 69 for the number not for the car. its gay in my opinion.

Re: Why?

the 69 is considered the elite of the 1st gens due to the restyling cues (no more round fenders, the fog lights in the front fascia, the trim in front of the fenders, the redesigned grill, redisigned tailights, etc...). I personally like the 68 model the best. my dad has a 68 SS 350 (white with the black stripe, but with a 302 in it instead of a 350) and I would love to have it.
