318is instrument cluster not working

I disconnected my battery the other day to try and reset a service light and now my instrument cluster won't work. The red light on the high end of the temp gauge keeps flashing and there is a buzzing noise coming from in the dash. I was just wondering if anyone might have had this problem or may know a solution to fix it. Thanks
