Not sure what gen mine is, 1984

I have a 1984 Accord 1.8L with manual 5 speed, 240,000 miles, smoothest shifting thing I have ever owned. Not sure if its the synthetic oil I use for my transmission gear lube, but I love how smooth and dependable my tranny has been.

manual .

I have 98 LX 5 sp. coupe. Wish new 6 sp. but wasn't available that time.
I prefer drive the car, not when something driving me nuts like auto, even very good auto...
Auto is like old elevator in the building. Before go up to your floor can go down, wait a minute for nothing, close the door, stop, go, stop againe and finaly you are in home. And you can do nothing.
Manual is like elevator with service key.
But anyway that is all a matter of taste.

95 Accord EX 4-dr sedan with auto, 113k miles, Brembo front slotted rotors, AEM pads, AEM CAI, PIAA Extremes, Accel plug wires. Will soon have H&R OE springs, Koni yellows, and stainless steel brake line kit installed. That'll be it cuz wife is getting pissed.

i just got a 92 ex sedan manual, used to have a 93 lx auto but it got stripped and i'm left with my new one...oh well...this one's got a lot stronger motor and tranny.. but then driving the 93 lx 600 miles in less than 4 hours couldn't help it any either....

94 cord stick all the way. the auto are all right, but stick is soo much better, plus the clutch does not cost nearly as much as a tranny.

Re: Manual or Automatic

Gotta 96' Manual, never going back to an auto. Only thing I hate is going up hills from a dead stop.

99 Accord LX sedan w/ 5-spd manual. Won't ever drive another automatic again....unless I get REAL lazy when I get old.
