ABS light on

My ABS light on my 94 XLT is on, the fuses are ok and the manual says to have the braking systems checked because there is a malfunction. The ABS is supposedly disabled but regular braking is not affected.

Re: ABS light on

My 94 4.0 Had The Same Problem. It Didn't Affect Breaking, The Light Just Turned On. The Problem Eventually Fixed Itself. I Wouldn't Worry About It.

Re: ABS light on

check the connector at the valve to the left of the master cylinder for corrosion.there is a connector behind the passenger side kick panel. it is orange and black.
connect a jumper wire to it and ground it. with the ignition in run the abs light will flash the code.
