Test drove a tC

ok guys.. i just test drove a tC.. it does feel different from a camry.. feels a lil faster.. tho it has the same engine as the camry.. the car was SO SMOOTH.. i left it in first, i though it would be atleast as loud as the corolla.. but it hit the redline and the rpm's started moving around.. my friends were yelling at me so i shifted.. theres so much power in that lil car.. i wasn't sure how fast i was going on first gear.. because i was too busy trying not to get into an accident.. one thing i must say tho.. the gas pedal is horrible sensitive.. its not even that the car is new.. its completely different from the corolla/camry that i drove anyways i took it around the block 2 times and my friend drove it back in.. we walked back in later to check out the tc.. like really check it out..

there is less trunk space then i thought.. less than the accord.. and compared to my accord.. the car is really really high.. and the trunk seems really high.. kinda feels like a rav4.. and the car inside is HORRIBLY simple.. if you've been in one you know what i mean.. when u put the stereo cover back in place.. it looks like theres nothing but gauges on the dash.. and i didnt sit in the back.. but i was pretty comfortable in the front.. and my friends said there was more room then my accord in the back.. so thats a plus.. and it gets the same mileage as my accord.. but with decreased weight and added speed

anyways its such a nice car i can't wait to buy one

Re: Test drove a tC

well i just got back from test driving a silver tC 5-speed...all i have to say is that is the best car for the price....the price was around $18k

the one i test drove had 17" rims, borla exhaust, short throw shifter, ground effects kit, and a mesh shift knob...i was suprised at the standard features...outside temp, tire pressure guage, passenger side temp, and the short turning radius...but the only drawback was the lack of a lot of trunk space...

took a lil bit of time to get used to shifting but when i did....it was a nice quiet drive...and the exhaust note was very nice...i took it up to 80 on the roads and actually raced a 5th gen civic si...was funny cause the sales guy was like "he has nothing on this car"...which he didn't...but i love the ride of that car...i can only think of what is next on the scion line. it looks like a rsx a lil...but the rear reminded me of the solara though
