Question Radio LED's going, going, gone

Okay, so the display has occasionally flickered off, then back on. Then it gradually went blank, seemingly more so in cold weather. This spring, it stayed out. All other functions work just fine; any solution except dealing with it [still functional, if my memory works for the special functions!] or replacing?

The screen went blank? May beed new bulb or possibly a fuse problem. That's all i can say for that one, it's usually best just to get those things fixed.

thanks for the link. it's comforting to know i'm not alone, but scary to see how many are afflicted; looks like a mfg defect to me! wish i were more bugged, or a nader-type whacko [well, not even that!] who would get this going.
