Unhappy 94 GCL A/C problem 2nd time

Here I go again since I didn't get any reply on my first thread.

My 94 GCL had what sounded like a bad leak from the liquid line where it connects at the front of the truck. My mechanic told me the line was bad and needed to be replaced. I purchased a new line along with the removal tool and installed it myself without any problem. I began to recharge the system, but i'm still hearing a hissing sound from the front area. I noticed that the clutch just clicks on and off, on and off, and it's only sucking in the refrigrant when it's turning for that 1 second or two. The liquid line only get's cold while I'm re-charging and the air in the car has seen no change. Is this hissing normal? or is there another leak somewhere else?? I haven't tried any leak finder yet..

I'm not an AC mechanic for sure but I do know that if you disconnect the connector from the cycling switch on the accumulator and put a jumper across the terminals on the connector the compressor will run all the time. This ought to help you put some dye in the system to help find your leak. Good luck.
