Re: suzuki gp bike....TOON!!!

Looks great!! I would suggest tilting the bike so it's doing a wheely, add tyre smoke, enlarge rear wheel, and make the front an evil face by putting red slits in the two front holes, plus some nice teeth . That'll really toon it up.

I agree with Chad, its looks good. However I dont see the toon part of it, to me it looks like the bike was just vectorized.

Re: suzuki gp bike....TOON!!!

yes, it is a nice "study" of a rocket bike. but there is no element whatsoever of characature or cartoonishness.

this is odd, too, as many younger people who attempt realism end up making the car look too cartoony. here is the opposite: an attempt to do a cartoon results in photorealism. (???)

Re: suzuki gp bike....TOON!!!

oh.

it isn't a cartoon, though, regardless. garfield, snoopy, felix the cat -these are cartoons. lemorris draws amazing cartoon cars, as well as realistic ones. a cartoon must have an altered, stylized sense of reality. this rendering is straight-on realism.

i don't accept the bike rendering here as a cartoon. it is a digital realism rendering.

when anime characters ride bikes, and if this is an anime style motorcycle, then the anime people are cartoons riding realistic bikes. but there is no anime character here represented, so i cannot accept this piece as a cartoon.

the rendering is great, by the way. i'm not at issue with that.
