The 1500 was popular in America, although the huge overriders requred by US regs did detract from the looks of the car...:bandit::flamer:

Not a tough choice for me at all! I'd hang onto the SP250 for sure! It only has 40,000 miles. Never selling it.
I just wanted the Spitfire as a dedicated track-only car. Actually, my neighbour is still selling it. He hasn't sold it yet. Hmmm. P.S. I'm impressed you know the SP250. Most people have never heard of them. |

I restored a Triumph Spitfire a few years ago, but it was an on road convertible, with no track.
