Just because one is born into wealth, doesn't instantly make them an asshole. When I was younger I got a lot bought for me, it was my dad's choice, I asked for nothing, I went to Uni worked my ass off like everyone else and got a job.

I deserve respect, I learnt a lot from my dad and that's how I advanced so quickly in my career.

Pretty much the same for me. My dad made a good living so I was bought things but not spoilt. His family was piss poor when he was young so i was made to learn the value of money at an early age. I studied hard, got myself a good job a couple years ago and am still studying to further my career.

yeah Im not rich, I work for everything i own, but it doesnt mean I hate rich kids, they are a little better off thats all. Ive been working since the age of 10 (no, it was not slave labour) I don't hate rich people, I hate snobs. Ive saved up, worked hard for everything I have today, and I like the way I'm living. I would hate to live in a huuge mansion, it's not me. I was brought up with the value of family, something thats very rare nowadays. In conclusion, don't hate the rich kids, frown upon the parents that spoil them as well. It's not always their fault.

i work for everything i own, 89 ford f150, 36inch rca tv,xbox plus games,a surround system 6.1 with a 500watt sub , leather lazyboy, and the laptop i'm on a dell inspiron 1100, all paid for with cash. and if anyone ever called me spolied i'd hold them down and scrape their nose off on the pavment. this all doesnt even include whats done to my truck. and yes i have nothing in my bank account maybe a grand? but i do have good credit.

I am not talking about that. A lot of people are born into wealth, and I'm not saying everyone who is born into it, are assholes. Just the kids who take the whole deal for granted. That's all.

I was saying, these rich kids haven't worked a day in their life, and bludge of other people's money. Although I would do it if I had the chance.

Paris Hilton came to sydney about 2 weeks ago to help out at some charity.
She helped raise, I think, over 200,000. That's pretty good.
But what confuses me, is she knows what she's doing, why not donate some of her not-hard-earned cash? She could of easily wrote out a cheque, but no! She had to relie on us aussies to fund their charity. I'm not dissing that, I have given to charities my self. But when someone as rich as her dosn't donate a lot of money, that confuses me.

One other issue that bugs me, but dosn't annoy me as much, is rich kids, who take over family businesses. Although I agree this is a good way to keep up family tradition. I sure as well wouldn't let my kid take over my business that I worked to build. I'd have a system were the employees would end up doing it over the long run (i.e. through promotions etc)
