Question What Amp/Sub combo Yall Recomend??

The amp i want to be mono, only to juice the sub. Max $300.

Sub, well i haven't decided on 1 15" or 1 12". I can only fit 1, so maybe a 15inch would be great. Max $200.

I listen to alot of really intricate bassy stuff, like say Slayer, with the double bass drums in War Ensamble. Or also heavy jazz bass like in Sade. So it has to handle a wide spectrum ok. My bud said rockford fosgate is good, or even kicker. He said don't even spend that much money, cause if you match everything up(rms watt's etc) that it will sound great.
