'67 Shelby Mustang GT500 pricing
I have a friend who I just found out has a 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500. I live in DC, he lives in Texas. He is selling it. The only information I have on it is: It looks like it is straight out of the movie Gone in 60 Seconds with the smoke colors. And he has it priced at $45,000.
Which to me seems a little expensive. Is it possible for one of these cars to be priced this high. I have also heard that he is under pricing the car. But those are friends of his. So what do I really believe ya know. Any help, thoughts, suggestions, comments would be awesome. I'm debating wether to sell my '02 Trans Am and '99 Taurus to get this car. Maybe I should just keep my Trans Am and hope it's value goes up in the future? It's garage kept so that's my investment. My dream car was a Shelby GT500. So i'm really torn here on what to do. DANG IT! Thanks for any help in advance. |

Re: '67 Shelby Mustang GT500 pricing
Uh... $45k for a REAL GT500 is low. If it's in good condition, I'd be wary that's it's a clone. If he says it looks just like the 60 Seconds one, it could be a TCP Eleanor clone:
http://totalcontrolproducts.com/vehi...c/bodykit.html NADA lists the value for a 67 GT500 as between $50k-90k. |

Thanks for the info.
What is NADA? i've never heard of them. He is a good friend of mine. He says it's had a lot of work done to it. So I don't think it's a kit car, clone, etc. I'll do my research though. Thanks for the info. |
