Neighbors from Hell

Sorry but I have to release this stress.

yesterday my neighbors (two houses down across the street from mine) are having this baby christening party for their baby. It started about 3PM and lasted about 4AM. The music was so loud that my house (which is a brick house) felt the vibrations of the bass coming from the speakers. We called 311 and to no avail. That was yesterday, Today July 4th, they started again at 2PM and its now 11PM at night and there is no sign of them letting up. We called 311 no less than 4 times today since its a quality of life (noise) issue and not a 911 emergency problem. Well on the forth call the operator tells me that each call was answered too and closed by the cops. I said no way, I've been sitting in my back yard looking at the house and did not see any cops come to the scene at all. She tells me that they (the calls) have been closed by the cops. At that moment I see a cop car drive right by the house without stopping. What gives?
I know its July 4th and people will have partys and fun and firecrackers, but this is ridiculous. Then they wonder why people take the law into their own hands. I'll bet if it was a dunkin donut shop in troubel they will be there in no time flat. Sorry for my rant, but it pisses me to no end especially the cops responses, or lack thereof.

People like to party. I can see the cops slacking off on fourth of july though, im sure things should die down by tommorow though. if not, phone 911, and tell them a drunk came to your window and started masterbating and urinating on himself and you feel in danger.

let me explain that this big thump party for a christening started the day before on July 3rd at 2PM and lasted till 4AM July 4th. I don't see how it matters what day of the year it is to have the music that freaking loud, loud enough to have my house feel the bump bump bump of the bass and I'm two houses over and across the street from them. Theres no reason for it. They have these disco type block party size speakers in a back yard and the yard is surrounded by houses all around it. I am those other neighbors also call it in. But to have the cops drive right by the house and not tell them to lower it a bit is beyond me. I had my radio in my back yard and as loud as I had it the sound from across the street muffled my radio. Its uncalled for for them to do that and its uncalled for the cops to do nothing about it. There is no reason for the cops to slack off, its their job to be on the ball. All I know is next week the cops will be hearing my mouth at the community meeting at the precinct.

This crap wouldn't happen in Texas, the speakers would have been blown out by a shotgun.

Re: Neighbors from Hell

NO NO NO NO NO!

Revenge is a dish best served cold.

I had a neighbor who called the cops on me for having a car parked out in the street. These are the same neighbors who called code enforcement when I went away for 3 weeks bitching about my tall grass. The same neighbors who called the home owners district to inform them my tree had fallen onto their property the night before.

2 months after the last incident, I called the cops and told them i heard my neighbors yelling and thought someone might be in trouble. Oh it was a beautiful night when he was hand cuffed and hauled into the cop car so they could question her w/o "outside interference".
2 weeks later my wife informed me that she(the neighbor lady) had a bruise on her back from walking into something. Another call to the cops to report what I thought was abuse : ) and he gets hauled down to the police station for questioning while she has to go to the hospital for I don't know what but it was fun!
Then another night I thought I saw a burglar in their house when all I saw was them having sex. There's nothing like having some yell freeze and a maglite shining in your face while on top of your wife.

Never had a complaint from them since!

Re: Neighbors from Hell

I wish I had a video camera. He apparently didn't know who was calling which made it all the more fun. So laughing loudly at him would have made us the point of his revenge.

The neighbors are in back of us ( I hope that makes sense). From our back porch we see their back porch.

My best guess was she walked backwards into a door knob but I didn't ask and I wasn't told. I don't even know what the bruise looked like or where exactly it was but all I needed to know was that it was there!
