I have a 1995 Caprice Classic Lt99 and during the recent rains in dallas I ran through a fairly large puddle (mini river I should say) approx 3ft. now my engine shakes during idling, there are times where acceleration is sluggish or non-present then, in an instant everything is fine please help!!

bad or ono existant acceration means you might have water in your gas tank. A bottle of HEET will take out any water that is in your tank. but if that water was dirty you should change your fuel filter before it blows out your fuel pump. It should all cost less that $20.

Change the oil, check the fluid in the diff for water, change the air filter, and lube the joints for the entire suspension again. Any type of flood damage can lead to bigger problems down the line. Cheap insurance to check things now...
