engine for my car drawing????

hey all.. glad i found this site.. i'm only 14 but i luv cars and i'm in to drawing them.. i'm workin on a 1971 dodge challenger right now.. i was wondering if anyone could help me find a drawing of a really big engine sticking out of the hood.. or maybe some tips on how to draw one.... (i want a drwaing or how to draw one.. so that it shows the blower.. the belts stuff like that,... nice and power hungyr!..thanx guys.. i'll post my car as soon as it's done!!

that's a bad ass car lol.... it's real nice luv the paint and the engine lol... but my car is drawn from the other side lol i would need the other side of the engine.. thanx anywayz man great car! lol

hahahahha nvm man.. i didnt' scroll down lol.. thank you it's good i'll practice with it.. keep lookin though people.. i could also use tips lol
the engine is a little small though.. can't make it big enough to get the detail i want

hey thanx man.. i might be able to use the mustang one.. (i'm new at drawing so i don't think so though lol) anyway here is my reference pic and drawing..(this is only my second drawings) i can tell that the shape of the car is off.. but i can't figure out where it's off or why it's off.. so if u could please help.. critism is welcome
the shading in the bottom right fog light is much lighter and the chrome is better.. i still have to get the settings right on my scanner :/




that's about an hour of work..(i'm pretty bad lol)

try the grid method. that would help you a lot

most the angles on your lines are off. the hood oes up WAY too far. you drew the window too far to the left. it should be left more. the distance from the first wheel well to the econd should be much larger. the back looks off too.

i suggest starting a new one, using the grid method. If you do it properly, then all the proportions should be correct.

right now, the car looks wobbly, and cartoonish. It would help you a lot if you used a grid.

not bad for a second drawing, but it can be much better.

hey guys.. here is my car with part of the wheels done.. i can't seem to get the angling right on the front wheel./... can sumone please help
