After market parts for a 3G Eclipse GT

I would appreciate it if u guys can reply and tell me where I can get cheap after market parts, Cheap as in price wise, not as in cheap products that dont work. I know good parts arent cheap but where is the cheapest to get aftermarket parts for my car? Suspension, Short shifter, headers, cat back, body kits, and the V-Line wing by west wing

Re: After market parts for a 3G Eclipse GT

I can offer pretty much everything the legitimate aftermarket has made for the 3G. We are also in development of our turbo kit which will be done in 2 weeks at the latest.

Re: After market parts for a 3G Eclipse GT

quiquin,
You might wanna put a cold air intake, header and exhaust on your car, that would increase some hp and torque... I don't think you can get everything for less than $600 with trusted brand... If you already done those, you might consider change the ECU...

Re: After market parts for a 3G Eclipse GT

You can get decent quality headers for about $600, but you will also need an SAFC or SAFR to tune the car. An intake is also suggested.

However, if you really want high quality, you can buy the HyTech header system, which costs $1900. But you will gain 40whp just from that. And actually, that is a very good horsepower-to-dollar ratio. 2 other companies offer headers, which are RippMods and XIRacing. The Ripp headers are also great quality and net a 30whp gain. They cost approx $800+. The XIR headers are about $600 and gain about 20whp.

Keep in mind that you will need to tune your car on a dyno to get those kinds of gains. They are not out-of-the-box and ready to go.

Are there any superchargers that will fit the GT other than the SDS? I can't afford to pay that much, and i dont really need that much extra horsepower.

Nope. You could consider buying a used one though. Or you could put a twin screw blower on it. I have seen that before. It was a custom job though and not for the shadetree mechanic.
