clear coat question
I just clear coated my 89 chevy pickup. A couple of bugs got in it before it dried. Do I buff them out? Or do I sand them out. If I sand, what # of sand paper? Wet or Dry? Also is it possible to put to much on? I put on about 3 coats. The first two really showed the metallic. The third made it less metallic. Help...

You should wet sand it with some where around 3200 grit then work your way up to 12000. If needed clear coat it again after the 3200

It could depend on what paints you're using and such. Did you mean live bugs? Or just defects? A little more info could help us diagnose the problem...But do what the guys above do, they know what they're doin...cept maybe mike...J/K!!
