won't let me shift!! NEED HELP!

i went to start the car this morning. it would not go down into neutral. the car has never been able to start in Park from day 1 of having it for 2 years. most of the time when i turn the wheel to the left or right or side to side it will eventually go free, but this time it wont.

in addition to this, this morning i find that, which might help solve the problem:

the doors are power doorlocks and the power doorlocks are not functioning correctly. and actually NOTHING power will work!

i'm almost certain that the battery isnt dead because last night it was fine when i went to the car. and the battery being dead wouldnt have anything to do with the car not shifting into neutral so that the car can be started?

ANY CLUE ON HOW TO FIX THIS?!?!?!?!?!?

thank you,
-Loud

yeah, the electrical system would have nothing to do with the shift-lock system, when you turn your key, can you move the steering wheel freely? if you can, i think you might want to pull off the shifter base and see if the connections to it are broken.
