Air bag light stays on?

I have a 2000 z24 and i had to remove all the dash... custom painting. and when i put is all back together and the steering wheel on i started it up and my air bag light stays on, Any1 know how to clear that.

Best thing i would do is to...get a hold of a pgm tester and find a code for it...to see whats causing it. If u cant get one just bring it to a chevy service center and let them receive the code for you.

I have had all the codes cleared on my computer. and it doesnt show anything else.

Good luck. I lemon lawed my car out for that reason, and got a new cav to boot....

ll wish i could but I just dropped a new motor and then custom painted my dash so thats why i had the steering wheel off. and well it seems to be my fault why the light came on and wont clear.
