Question Exhaust upgrades

I have a 232 1988 Thunderbird and I am having someone pratically rebuild the whole thing. The person doing this recremended putting in a Cat Black system. I was wondering is this a good system, will I gain / loose any power having this in? Thanks.

there is more then one cat back system.i would say yes this is a very good idea though. i would go with whatever system you like the sound off. if you want to go cheap then go with THRUSH wanna spend some more go with dynomax or flowmaster. wanna spend more go with borla,,
you know how it goes. On my supercoupe i have a single glasspack in the single section of the exhaust then 2 dynomax mufflers after the pipe y's out. i have the glasspack there because it gives it alot lower mellow tone. you just have to decide on price and i gave you a few options and there are a thousand more.

Re: Exhaust upgrades

I am parting out a 90 SC. It has a cat back system with 2 Flowmasters . Easy to drop out as a unit. I can't ship anything this large. I live near Pontiac Michigan. If you want to come and get it, you can have it all for $75.
