Air-Conditioning Problem...
yellow green tahoma 2
I just purchased one month ago a 1991 Buick LeSabre Custom in very good shape. Up until yesterday, the Air-Conditioning worked OK. Then about three days ago when I started up the engine, the a/c didn't work, not even a whirring sound... Then I hit a bump, and the A/C came on! (Go figure!) Yesterday, we drove 300 miles w/my Buick. On the return trip, the A/C was on, but not traveling upstate NY. We stopped at this restaurant and before I turned off the engine, I closed all A/C controls off. When I returned and started up the engine, turned the A/C controls ON, nothing happened! Could it be a bad sensor or faulty connection that would make it this way? Or could the A/C compressor have gone out? Thanks for any input you may have. Enjoy your July 4th holiday... |

Re: Air-Conditioning Problem...
Check the blower relay and the purple wire connections to the relay and blower motor. Sounds like you have burnt connections making intermittant contact.
