99 cav auto trans lost 2nd gear???

My 99 cav, 2200 engine, auto, seems to miss 2nd gear.. when going to second in drive or manually from first up, the engine will rev all the way up like its slipping, any suggestions?? I have already changed the filter and fluid..

wut do u mean? is it goin from first to third?? check ur tranny, u could have a bad gear

no, its an automatic, when put in drive,,,it will start in 1st just fine, when it shifts to second the engine revs high,,,,if you let off gas to an idle,,,,it will finally go to 3rd...
