Wheel and tire advice

All,
I recently purchased a Passat TDI and want to replace the horrific wheels and tires that come stock. I have noticed from www.cardomain.com, that pretty much everybody is running 18"s with 225/40-18 rubber around it. Why not 19's or 20's? I really don't want to mess with the springs and all, so does anyone have a recommendation on a good wheel size that's going to fill the wheel well without me having to do suspension work? I was looking at the HP Racing Design EVO wheel in a 20, as I like the updated BBS-style look on the Passat. Saw an A4 the other day that had something similar and it totally filled the well. Didn't look like it had been dropped either. Very nice. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Re: Wheel and tire advice

Check out www.clubb5.com - you can get a ton of info on passats and wheel and tire packages over there - more than I could provide here at least.
